Angela Davis
Angela Davis is a political activist, author, and professor. In 1970 she was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit murder of four people who died of gunshot wounds in a California courtroom. After over a year in jail, she was acquitted of all charges. Most of her work is focused on abolishing the prison industrial complex.
