Frederick Douglass
Frederick Douglass. Born a slave in Talbot County, Maryland, he escaped slavery and became a prolific orator, abolitionist, and author. He was publisher of the anti-slavery newspaper, “The North Star”.
We honor those who have fought the good fight. We honor those who are currently using their voices to push boundaries, break through ceilings, and speak for those without a voice.
