I was so excited to hear from my friend, Kate Clifford-Larson, after she received her Fannie Lou Hamer t-shirt. Kate is the author of the acclaimed biography about Harriet Tubman called “Bound for the Promised Land: Harriet Tubman, Portrait of an American Hero”. Kate is also working on a soon to be published biography of Fannie Lou Hamer. When I asked her about her t-shirt, Kate said, “I LOVE IT! Already worn and washed it a few times. Thank you!
